ANGER CONTROL TRAINING - 13 week course starts on Tuesday 20th May at 10.30 am. I have a long waiting list for this group, and will be contacting everyone in the next couple of weeks. All of us will experience anger at some stage in our lives, and this is a natural response that helps us cope with threat, hurt, violence or violation.

This course will help you learn what you have always needed but never before possessed:

The Depression Recovery Group offers support and a chance to talk about how depression affects your life, in a caring and confidential environment.

POSITIVE STRESS MANAGEMENT

The Positive Stress Management Group will help you find out where your stressors are coming from and create new ways of dealing with stress more effectively.

It is a user-centred group, in that much of the content is decided by the group participants and is based directly on their needs and requests.

Subjects usually covered include:

• What is stress?
• What causes stress for me, personally?
• What is it doing to my body?
• How does the food I eat affect my stress?
• What changes can I make in my lifestyle?
• Relaxations skills

We may also look at:

Aromatherapy, Breathing techniques, Chrystals, Colour healing, Using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Sleep, Anger, Yoga, Yoga-boxing, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Tai Chi, Positive Thinking, Creative drawing, and a whole lot more.
